The @CronosNetwork has resumed block production

We're running further checks on our systems and dependencies. Once those clear, we'll reopen in phases.

First phase is withdraw assets and repay loans, with borrowing and deposits staying paused while we finalize next steps.

Protecting user funds is our top priority. We'll post here when it's live.

A full post mortem is coming.

[Cronos Network @CronosNetwork]

The Cronos Network is producing blocks again and is fully back online.

The Cronos Network halted earlier today. This was a validator-consensus emergency action to protect users from an exploit on the Tectonic protocol. The chain state was restored to before the Tectonic exploit from this morning.

Cronos is producing blocks again as of 2026-08-30 23:49:01 UTC, starting from block 90,896,189.

Node operators can now restart on Cronos v1.7.8 using the latest mainnet snapshots from 2026-08-31 09:52:00 UTC [https://t.co/OP1JQMqIDx]

The chain is under observation while we confirm stability, and some protocols, RPC providers, explorers and bridges will take longer to come back as they do the same.

We will be releasing a full postmortem soon.

[Tectonic.cro @TectonicFi]

We are aware of an incident affecting Tectonic and our team is actively investigating.

As a precaution, please do not interact with the protocol until we confirm it is safe to do so.

We will post a verified update here as soon as we have one.

[Tectonic.cro @TectonicFi]

A quick reminder for USC suppliers on Tectonic:

If you have USC supplied on Tectonic, consider withdrawing it soon. You can then swap your USC via the @VVS_finance, which closes on 7 July 2026.

Don't leave it too late.

$DAI is being rebranded to $USDS

What's changing:
- $DAI borrowing has been disabled on Tectonic
- Current health factor will not be affected. However, $DAI will no longer be accepted as collateral

What you need to do:
1. Repay any DAI borrows and withdraw DAI supply
https://t.co/ib6IYdX3qh

2. Send your DAI to @cryptocom for conversion to $USDS BEFORE MAY 11

After this date, there will be no supported conversion path for DAI.

We experienced a brief service disruption earlier today due to an RPC issue.

This has been resolved and all services are back to normal.

Thank you for your understanding.
