A simple message with big meaning: "I am somebody." We are grateful to Rev. Jesse Jackson for helping teach generations of children to believe in themselves and in one another. Thank you for being part of our neighborhood. 💛💚
Watching the @NBA All Star game and @TeamUSA at the Winter Olympics, it’s clear that sports — just like music and art — still has the power to bring us together, build community, and remind us of our common humanity.
Rep. Ro Khanna went to the House floor Tuesday to read the names of six "wealthy, powerful men" whose identities were shielded in the public release of the Epstein files.
"The British government may fall. The Norwegian princess may not become queen. Other countries are having total investigations of anyone who even shared emails with Epstein," he tells @GeoffRBennett. The trauma response known as fawning wears various faces: perfectionism, promiscuity, self-deprecation, workaholism. Two new books advise on how to “unfawn”—but what do we lose in the process? https://t.co/SGPtjyxeih
In a letter drawn from a posthumous collection of correspondence, published in 2019, the neurologist Oliver Sacks argued that society had no immunity to the seductions of digital life. “What we are seeing—and bringing on ourselves—resembles a neurological catastrophe on a gigantic scale,” he wrote. There's a radical shift in relationships happening in 2026.
People are no longer sacrificing their nervous systems for friendships or love.
Here's Why:
New year. New opportunities. Same commitment to growth and impact. Wishing you all success and joy! Let’s make 2026 intentional, bold, and meaningful! Happy New Year! 💫
Today I quietly mark 7 years of sobriety.
This journey hasn’t been about perfection or willpower—it’s been about learning to sit with discomfort, to choose honesty over escape, and to keep showing up even when no one is watching. Some days were heavy. Some days were hopeful. All of them mattered.
If you’re walking this path in any form, know that growth often happens in silence, and strength doesn’t always look strong. Staying is brave. Trying again is brave. Resting when you need to is brave too.
Wherever you are today, I hope you give yourself grace. One day at a time is more than enough. 🤞🏾🙏🏾🖤
