So, who was right? Once again, the "experts" were wrong. Tariffs did not crash the economy or spike inflation.
On the day of my prediction, $SPY closed at $562. It then rallied more than 22% to its 2025 high of $690, missing $700 by just over 1%. Once again, those who didn't panic or let themselves be manipulated had one of the best years.
$MSFT currently trading at trailing PE of 25, down from 10yr avg over 30. If you believe management will coarse-correct Copilot AI integration to better align with corporate users, then now is a good time to build a position. For historical reference, the historical low is just below 20 PE, placing us in the middle. However, the forward PE is 33 (recent historical avg) which implies investors have already brought the stock down to "normal" range.

My custom daily momentum indicator hit 97 out of 100 on the $SPY this morning. That is the highest reading ever! We are extremely overbought in the short time.

If AI displaces so many jobs that the masses lack purchasing power, controlling production means nothing. No capable buyers = no market value in owning the stack. That's why I think we'll see a fracture among the big tech players long before any stable long-term consolidation emerges.
The shakeup will hit both sides. But ultimately, leverage always lies with the consumer โ as long as there is a) the means to contract and b) competition that yields real choices.
Get your popcorn.
@EricLDaugh "WITHOUT the 60-vote Zombie Filibuster, meaning senators must debate and 50 votes can be possible for passage"?!? You mean this was an option the entire time? WTF
@MichaelDell@InvestAmerica24 These accounts will revolutionize the quality of life for the next generation more than any other policy in U.S. history--period. So thankful you got this through Michael, and thank you & Susan for setting the example.
@libsoftiktok The point you are making is valid in principle, but you lose credibility when the extreme example in support it's not true. Just now: "251 Results for "iryna zarutska"."
$SPY is about to close the 11/10 gap. Taking some profit on the staple plays from last week. Picking up tech $TSLA $GOOGL $META again on this pullback. $NVDA earnings will be important to this "bubble" talk.
As I predicted Tuesday, staples $XLP $PG $KR $PEP up big as Tech $QQQ $META $MSFT $GOOGL $NVDA down. This will be short lived. Repositioning on tech for a recovery into year end--if the world doesn't end.

This week's plan: Taking some profit on tech stocks as they cool and starting new positions in staples: $XLP $PG $NKE $KR
Expect the down momentum that has lasted for weeks to turn up. If $SPY corrects, staples will hold up better.
@DataRepublican@LeaderJohnThune@LeaderJohnThune, you have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: do the brave thing, save America, and become a heroโor become that historical figure remembers as the man who could not lead when the country was at the crossroadโbefore socialism took control for the final time.
