@Saints1890 Can someone from the club please give some insight as to why our Club hasn’t been selected to represent Super League in Las Vegas…are the likes of Leigh and Bradford in a better financial position to attend ?
The countdown begins.
Teams at @NASAKennedy have arrived to their stations at the Launch Control Center. We are about 48 hours from the launch of the Artemis II mission around the Moon. https://t.co/PqaR8eyxu4
Fist bump, Rise!
Very emotional moment zipping up Rise, knowing we are bringing 5,647,889 names with us on this journey around the Moon. For all!
People from around the world submitted their names through the Send Your Name with Artemis campaign.
These names were downloaded onto an SD card that is safely stored inside "Rise," the zero gravity indicator designed by 2nd grader Lucas Ye from California. Thanks for coming along, everyone!
Whilst Im all for renewal of rail infrastructure it fails me how @AvantiWestCoast doesn’t understand how people ‘actually’ want to travel on Bank Holiday…downside is my daughter cannot travel because there are actually no trains to get her home to Wigan NW this Easter weekend!!!

Time is running out to fly your name around the Moon!
The Artemis II mission is launching no earlier than April 1. Now is your last chance to submit your name to be flown aboard the Orion spacecraft alongside four astronauts: https://t.co/vyLCuDWQtq
T-minus 6 days until liftoff 🚀
On April 1, 2026, NASA’s Artemis II mission is scheduled to launch four astronauts on the first crewed journey around the Moon in over 50 years.
The last time humans ventured this far from Earth was during the Apollo program. Since 1972, no crewed spacecraft has left low Earth orbit.
Artemis II will change that.
The Orion spacecraft will carry the crew thousands of miles beyond Earth, looping around the far side of the Moon before safely returning home. While it won’t land on the lunar surface, this mission will rigorously test the systems and procedures needed for future crewed landings.
This flight marks a major milestone in humanity’s return to the Moon — and the beginning of a bold new era of deep space exploration.
