Today, I give thanks to God for 13 years of priestly ministry, serving at His Holy Altar.

Thirteen years of standing at the altar. Thirteen years of witnessing God’s faithfulness. If these years have taught me anything, it is that God does not call the qualified; He faithfully sustains those He calls.

Every year has been another chapter of His grace.

My sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and prayed for me throughout these thirteen years. I am deeply grateful.

To God alone be all the glory.

I got to know that Uche is a girl worked with Alex Ekubo at some point. Her requesting prayers for the peaceful repose of his soul is the ultimate "I’ve got your back" move.

In the Catholic view, that friendship doesn't just stop because one person passed away. The bond stays active.

The Catholic church believes that If the friend is going through that "purification" phase, the prayer acts like a character reference. It’s the living friend stepping in to say, "Hey, this person was loved, and I’m putting in a good word for them." 🥺

It is a way of looking out for them when they can no longer help themselves. Since the person who passed can't "earn" any more merit, their friend on Earth uses their own time and faith to advocate for them.

Just like you might help a friend finish a tough project or pay off a debt, praying for their soul is seen as helping them finish their final spiritual to-do list so they can get to a place of peace faster.
It’s less about a formal ritual and more about a deep, personal connection, treating the friend with the same loyalty and care as if they were still standing right there.

I just finished a long call from the Abia State Government team regarding the current state of Abia State University.

Investigations will commence immediately.

Their word is that if after the investigation and it requires them to fire 90% of the staff to sanitize the system, they will do it.

We will not tolerate extortion or students molestations in our universities anymore.

We will expose them, show their faces and jail them.

Extortions, molestations and sorting is the major reason why we have low quality graduates in our universities.

It must stop!
