it's been ages since i wrote code with my hand. all I've been dng? prompting claude and tweeting endlessly. I'm seriously afraid of my next job switch. i need to lock in to learn everything that I've been doing for months using claude.

have been walking 10k steps from the past 10 days and the results are unbelievable. it's not the weight loss that happened. my skin became toned. that excess loose hanging skin around my arms, thighs and butt underwent reduction. i feel more lighter in my body now.

i thought this is only possible from Surya namaskar and gym but this is the first time i saw it happening with walking.

the reason I'm so happy with the result? walking comes so naturally to me. i feel alive when walking. i hate it when i have to force myself to do all those strenuous excercises everyday. but to go walk is the favorite part of my day. i literally wait to go on a walk everyday. I'm more excited and happy for this part of the day. when such is the condition, i can maintain consistency. i don't have to worry about the days when I don't feel like excercising.

why only 10k? i don't know. i picked it up since it's the most happening number in the world of walking. i shall continue to do it. what helped more? good shoes and brisk walk (slow walking never worked)

this explains why i have very few female friends and almost no friends at all over the period of time. it sucks to be around those who are ambition less

[fardeen @fardeentwt]

i cant imagine living with a person who has no purpose in life

most girls i meet in tier 2-3 cities mostly have no purpose and its so sad to see, they just wait for their marriage and then wait for kids and for their marriage and so on

how do people even live like this, if i wake up and i dont have a purpose and passion to follow i gonna throw up so bad

blessed are those who wake up every day and have a goal to work toward

the difference, he stays out for 12hrs a day and I stay at home, the whole 24hrs. Home is the place i work, cook, sleep. it's my abode. if it isn't clean, if my surroundings are messy i can't concentrate. while he can come home, be unbothered by the mess and go to sleep as if nothing happened.

it's not about men and women. it's about who's spending more time at a place. i bet men would be equally bothered if their work spaces and work toilets are messy. it's just that they never face that situation, thanks to office budget and maids.

[Pritika @pritika_9]

The one thing worth learning from men is the art of not stressing about little inconveniences and little things.

The laundry hasn’t been done in days? Don’t care. The utensils aren’t arranged properly in the drawer? Doesn’t matter. The cook isn’t coming? Just order from outside. The house is messy? So what.

Letting these small things go saves them so much daily energy and time. It lets them focus on the bigger picture and the things that actually matter. I hope to master this one day.

so you saying sai pallavi isn't beautiful and doesn't fit beauty-pageant standards?

sai pallavi is indeed beautiful but she just doesn't have that aura, that radiance that can convince people that she indeed could've been the Sita, based on the description.

may be it's not her but the makeup and the costume that ruined the image.

there were many serials that succeeded in convincing people of the portrayal of maa Sita. and none of them were beauty pageants.

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

😭😭😭 it's stated in the book, "what do you think would scientists talk about during lunch breaks? it's about quantum physics? quarks? sometimes. but they talk about who's cheating on who, the dispute between the lab assistant and the dean and ...."

humans come together gossiping than by motivation.

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

i used to believe gossiping is a bad behaviour but the book "Sapiens" tells, gossiping is the reason we developed sophisticated languages and communication mechanisms that put us on top of every other organism.

he says gossiping brought together the sapiens in large numbers than what's observed in chimps or any other creature.

[She @UnborrowedPen]

The trolling of Sai Pallavi for not looking sufficiently “ethereal” as Sita exposes our disturbing obsession with judging even our goddesses by beauty-pageant standards.

Our scriptures speak of divinity, radiance, grace and tejas—not aquiline noses, almond-shaped eyes or surgically perfected features.

For all we know, Sita or Draupadi may not have fit today’s conventional beauty standards. Their greatness, however, was never contingent on facial symmetry.

And yet, even our goddesses must now pass the Cleopatra test: beautiful enough to explain a man’s devotion, desirable enough to justify his willingness to fight for her honour.

What a spectacularly shallow understanding of both divinity and love!

Since when did a woman’s beauty become the measure of her worth, or a man’s courage in defending her honour depend on how physically attractive she is?

We worship goddesses who transcend the ordinary, yet judge the women portraying them by the most ordinary, commercialised and objectifying standards.

Perhaps the real failure is not that Sai Pallavi doesn’t look like our idea of Sita, but that we have reduced Sita to our idea of beauty.

and this is what i meant when i say the team lacks respect and sincerity. Indians and Hindus are definitely not the target audience for their output. they want to make money in $$$

[Ramayana: Rise of a Legend @Ramayana_Intl]

Ancient roots, modern feelings. #RamayanaMovie

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

@karthika_gm it's almost true in many families. not exactly of the reason behind it.

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

my sister highlighted yesterday that the hate on sai pallavi for the role of Sita is getting too much.

see the issue is not with sai pallavi playing the role of Sita. it's about the makers projecting it as a high budget global movie when her looks are not even convincing.

again, why are the looks so important? cuz everyone in India already knows the story. I see atleast a serial on Ramayan made every 2 yrs. we have all grown on various Ramayan movies from childhood.

you need to be extra careful on the cast when the story is already known. you need to convince people that this is how Ram ji and Sita maa would have looked like.

of course you can watch Ramayan a thousand times. But when you're projecting such high numbers, scale and grandeur, we naturally expect a fantastic output.

I'm comparing every poster and song with serials like Siya ke Ram and Ramananda Sagar's Ramayan. and it's not even a 10th of what these serials left as an impact.

@ArjunB79 everything feels useless. stocks are down, mutual funds are down, gold silver are down

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

@Mahesh171819 you need to walk

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

you need to have "everything's gonna workout for me always" kinda attitude to live and lead your life to the fullest. dropping low after a setback isn't gonna work for better.

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

@seren_0613 that's gonna be fantastic 🤩

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

@ArjunB79 @sama @DarioAmodei I'm ok if the legacy roles are gonna be wiped out with the new AI leaned roles replacing them. but it's scary when lakhs of engineers are laid off irrespective of their skill set

[doracake @TejaswiniBlog]

I'm really terrified of switching jobs, promotions and increments. there used to be a time when all of these meant happiness. all i want is a stable income and a happy life. is it too much to ask?
