Trump Said is an ingenious product. People never tire of interpreting his Said into their own “I say.”
The harshest critics consume and distribute more of the product. The more you hate the man, the more you use it.
An addict cannot grasp: Never say what Trump said.
So let’s see if I got this right:
The White House had anticipated (and prepared) for Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz.
And part of that response is for the President to ask via social media geopolitical foes like China to send warships to keep the waterway open?
@FischerKing64 Nationalize birth control manufacturing, distribution, and services.
Let the SEIU unionize the now-government workforce. BC will become as reliable and effective as public education. We will get used to it.
@STzorfas@Dr_da_Vinci Every doctor has me fill out medical history forms with the same information. The profession needs a universal patient medical history electronic form that can be saved, updated, and provided to a new physician. Have Amazon handle it.
@ColeMaritz Real world solutions: Create a kickback scheme for politicians from sending them Upstate to NYS Corrections. Otherwise the money saved goes to pet NGOs and contractors because it “pays you back.” Think credit card points.
Nursing doesn’t complicate the thoughts or feelings of the comfortably compassionate. The inaccurate example serves the trite narrative.
Imagine reaching for the pay of Caseworkers at Children’s Services dealing with neglected and abused children. Truly low pay to manage a parade of tragedy. The long-term outcomes are terrible.
The cool kids of academia want to be invited to the cool things.
@feelsdesperate I predict some day it will be understood that a Dark Triad Dad used and manipulated Hunter by exploiting his weaknesses. The sick nature of their relationship has been obscured for the usual reasons.
@TamiLmyers@NatCon2022 1. I was addressing the logical implications of your own statement that “chasing after someone with a gun…alone…makes the store owner guilty.” Reflect on that.
2. You don’t know what I know.
3. You’re arguing with a lawyer who handled many NYC police shooting cases.
@TamiLmyers@NatCon2022 The logic: If the kid shot Chow with his gun that would be fine because Chow chased him. Running after someone is worse than pointing a gun. It would have been better if Chow was shot to death.
@AuronMacintyre AI proponents center arguments on productivity because that is AI’s strength. They cite the urgency of competition with China. But other discussions are important. We need to push hard about all the potential consequences of its strengths. Expect to be called stupid and afraid.
