Having been on #dragonsden I look at the ‘journey’ fairly closely, what did they sacrifice? The Matcha ppl were great, but being able to raise £125k from family is privileged. Fair play, I’m sure they will be a huge success! But the lady who bootstrapped had a hill to climb.

@ShaiLorraine @tellemoi A bit disappointed in how the dragons were with @tellemoi. They used to invest in small businesses and watch them grow, nowadays all they are interested in is wealthy people like the two at the end or those that are already doing well that have the biggest budgets.

@WamdueC @tellemoi True, I agree with her though that they haven’t. I feel there’s probably loads of make up examples of this. We’re an afterthought or just not a profitable enough market apparently. You’d like to think the target market would choose a brand with a genuine story/interest in them.

Shocked by the #dragonsden response to @tellemoi because this is a real life problem 😄 I wish more nail shops stocked gel polishes that were a more flattering shade of nude for my skin colour. The pinks look trash on me but I like plain/natural nails😒
