I love this club. 22 years we have waited. Enjoy it until your hearts are full. This fanbase is family to me. So so proud of Arteta and the squad. We have done it.
Champions of England.
I promise you this is only the start for this beautiful institution.
COYG 😭❤️
My challenge is that I am not an inquisitive friend. I do not ask questions about things you have not voluntarily shared. Because of this, it may sometimes seem as though I do not care. And this happens in all my relationships 🤭😌
Matthew’s Gospel opens with Jesus being called Immanuel, which means “God with us”, and it closes with Jesus saying the same thing—except He substitutes “God” with “I”:
“𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶 always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
Jesus is God. Merry Christmas 🎁
Most people think of generosity only in terms of money, but that view barely scratches the surface.
True generosity goes far beyond finances. It lives in the time you give, the attention you offer, the patience you extend, the knowledge you share, and the kindness you show when no one is watching.
Generosity is showing up, listening, encouraging, and lifting others even when it costs you comfort, convenience, or recognition.
In its truest form, it is a way of living, not just something to be done once in a while.
So if you’ve followed me for years, you know my dad was in a horrific car accident a year and a half ago and almost died. And apparently he did die for 20 minutes.
He was in a coma, unconscious for weeks. My mom was there 24/7. She never left his side.
My siblings and I (and my kids) were at the hospital daily for weeks, helping however we could.
The story that we were told was that the EMTs rushed to help the passenger in the car (a close friend of my dad’s) because they had thought my dad already died.
3 EMTs said a doctor came out of the bushes, said he was an orthopedic surgeron, and started putting my dad’s ligaments (his arm was hanging) back together while the EMTs were focused on my dad’s friend. Finally one said, “he’s breathing now” and they took over.
This orthopedic surgeon left the scene and no one knew who he was.
A couple weeks back my dad went back to the site of the crash and a sheriff, who was filming the event, told him that this was a doctor that came and fixed my dad while he was unconscious but when he looked at the camera footage, there was no person there…
