Although I'm not a big fan of human neighbors (luckily don't have any of them), I really appreciate the vast diversity of other critters living nearby. One of them is a nice bank vole (Myodes glareolus) residing in a shed.

Paraponera clavata (bullet ant) sting can be nasty!

#Lepidoptera is an insect order comprising butterflies and moths. Its Latin name stands for "having scaly wings" and under the right magnification, it's easy to see why.

@AwSwitek Prawda, choć wydaje mi się, że często to podejście i osiągnięcia różnych dziedzin nauki są bagatelizowane przez decydentów - w momentach, w których podjęte decyzje mogłyby przyczynić się do ograniczenia zjawiska suszy, czy wręcz jego odwrotu.
