For example, my sensitive hearing can be overstimulating and overwhelming, but it also gives me an advantage in music. My terrible short-term memory also comes with unusually accurate long-term memory. While I have challenges in executive functioning, I can also hyperfocus and get a month's worth of work done in a week.
