@Se_Railway Afternoon. I’m on 1C34 in coach 2. Going over Luton arches, just outside Gillingham Tunnel there was a flash and a clunk underneath the train. Not sure if something on the track or something with the shoe gear.

@Se_Railway credit to Sarah the conductor on 1P28 today. She dealt with the incident at SIT really well, whilst liaising with police and still making announcements. She went through the train after to check everyone was okay and providing help. Please make sure she’s recognised!

@JohnTillUK Had similar 2yrs ago - my Munich to London journey was thwarted by a missed connection in Frankfurt, a 2hr wait for next train to Brussels, which then terminated at Cologne…! An international rail replacement bus from Cologne to Liege followed, and the last train into Brussels.
