I believe in humanity and the world is such a better place when we all come together and work for a common goal. So emotional and touched to witness Aaron beggs and Robson de oliveira helping Ajay harissase finish the Boston marathon. True heroes !#bostonmarathon#ajayharidasse
I am heartbroken by the death of Tibetan activist Lobga Rangzen outside the United Nations. No one should feel that such a desperate act is the only way to make the world listen.
New York stands for the dignity and human rights of all people. We mourn this tragic loss and extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones and the Tibetan community across our City.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama Receives Grammy Recognition Highlighting Universal Responsibility and Compassion
Grammy Award Best Audiobook Narration - Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
I receive this recognition with gratitude and humility. I don’t see it as something personal, but as a recognition of our shared universal responsibility. I truly believe that peace, compassion, care for our environment, and an understanding of the oneness of humanity are essential for the collective well-being of all eight billion human beings. I’m grateful that this Grammy recognition can help spread these messages more widely.
@MsMelChen No one cares a thing about Tibet anymore but it’s so beautiful to see people like you who reminds the world about the atrocities, cultural genocide, denial of religious freedom and the ongoing oppression and self immolation. Peace to the world 🕊️
@dasha_dagmar@MsMelChen The kind of people who call the Native American and the Māoris witchcraft. This is our culture and there’s a difference with bon and buddhism. Enlighten yourself with some basic research and think about debating. Good luck with your Chinese propaganda and paid disinformation.
It’s hard to say but when then Disney CEO Michael Eisner personally flew to China to give a groveling apology to the CCP in 1998 for the “mistake” of releasing a “sensitive” film, a line was drawn in the sand.
A line that signaled a new era in which the Free World was happy to sell its soul.
The Disney film was Kundun, a biopic of the 14th Dalai Lama, directed by Martin Scorsese (who is still banned from entering China for making this film!).
What’s happened to Tibet and Tibetan culture since then is tragic.
Today, even the word “Tibet” has been erased in China
On the topic of education, does the Prime Minister know that almost one million #Tibetan children have been separated from their families and forced into #colonial boarding schools? He needs to find his courage here and support the call of #UN experts for them to shut down‼️
Over a week has passed and this is the first TV media interview im doing to share the Tibetan perspective on this late internet craze.
Thanks @DilshadBurman from @CityNewsTO for reaching out.

@NatlyDenise_ Your ignorance and media frenzy, click bait mind and brain which only perceives the single story narrative is making me 😵💫🤢🤮. Educate yourself before commenting about others culture. don’t project your negativity on others, and look at what’s growing in your backyard first.
Below video shows Chinese army bombing, beating, torturing monks and nun and destroying tibetan monastery. Now can woke media show some attention on this issue of tibet instead of defaming dalai lama #DalaiLama#IStandWithDalaiLama
@TheNarrator000@ayu_agarwal94@DalaiLama Who is talking here ? The one who is deprived of genuine love from childhood who views everything as hyper sexualized context and doesn’t have time to actually study, read others culture and the whole unedited video because they are too busy scrolling the click bait, single story
“Among all the great spiritual teachers of the world, one thing that really defines the Buddha as a unique teacher from the Buddhist point of view is his teaching on Tibetan origination and it really captures essence of Buddhist insight and Buddha’s teaching”, adds @DalaiLama at #GBSINDIA2023
Breaking: “It is clear that some vested interests have acted with malafide intentions to defame HH the Dalai Lama” - National commission for minorities India Chairman writes to the Minister of Information and broadcasting @ianuragthakur.
I am proud to have studied H. H. the @DalaiLama in my Masters, and because of this, my research was transformed to a book. My full support to H. H. #IStandWithDalaiLama
