Gorgeous little female Siskin at RSPB Ham Wall in Somerset last weekend. 😍
I don't have many photos of Siskins as I don't see them very often.
Have you ever seen a Siskin? Maybe you're lucky enough to have them visit your garden feeders? 😀🐦

Thank you to all the kind people who have 'bought me coffees' here;
https://t.co/JAxKSLFnah🙏🥰
It's so helpful and appreciated, especially as, like all small businesses at the moment, my takings have gone down, but my bills have gone up.
I'm humbled by your support! 🙏♥️😀
One day, as I walked into the heart of a dark grove, where light could barely penetrate the dense foliage, an alert long-eared owl perched on a branch. Its tufted ears twitched, and its yellowish-orange eyes scanned me, ever alert. In Laval. Quebec.
This is how early I was up with the marsh harriers in Spain this morning ..
This is actually a composite image of the background and foreground.
It was impossible to get the moon and the harrier in focus at 7am with my aperture.
So I took one image focussed on the harrier and then another photo focussed on the moon and blended them in photoshop.
I’ve included both versions in the comments for you to see..

It's Friday! 😀
Once again, I'm asking my dear followers to please retweet this photo if you see it! 🙏
This is to help my account be seen by the people who actually follow me.🐦
To make it worth sharing, here are a pair of bickering Goldfinches!😊♥️

At just 17cm in length this Pied Falconet (#BirdsSeenIn2023) is one of the smallest raptors on our planet. It is resident in southern #China and fittingly has an endearing somewhat “panda-like” appearance [https://t.co/pY1umwzWRF].
I need some input from the birding experts on X/Twitter... what species is the closest Wagtail? 🤔
Taken last week at the Huntspill seawall in Somerset... I was reliably informed it's a Yellow Wagtail, but I keep getting told it's a Grey Wagtail! 🤔🐦
