Tennessee Firearms Association was formed in 1995 to defend the right to keep and bear arms in TN. It is the ONLY no-compromise gun-group in Tennessee.
Many incumbent Republicans in TN are running for re-election or election to a higher office. Don't let them get away with their misconduct. Hold them accountable. Refuse to vote for them in the primaries. Refuse to vote for them in November. Indeed, with the super majorities, Tennessee conservatives would not be hurt if several of these "cull" Republicans were to lose. After all, what have they done to honor their oaths, the constitution and your rights?
Tennessee's "Republican" public officials have had 15 years to honor the promise to restore the rights protected by the 2nd Amendment. @KenDBerryMD asks in his Substack why the failure?

TFA is working on the 2026 election survey responses from candidates. Interesting responses from some who claim to be 2nd Amendment supporters. Massive silence from so many incumbents who claim to be 2nd Amendment supporters. The survey results will be posted on https://t.co/3qKTYMdNCh in the near future. Get on the free email list.
@TnCoNews1 How exactly does it lower the standard? It still requires a threat to human life and consequently is nothing more than a self-defense bill "recast" as property protection.

TFA is surveying the 2026 TN state government candidates (Governor and Legislators). The survey responses were due May 15, 2026. We are now compiling those responses and will be posting them soon. Can you name the candidate running for Governor who failed to respond? Go ahead, guess.
@itrue98 No, they did not. The bill HB1802 would have done that but it was entirely rewritten with an amendment that only allows lethal force - whether protecting property or not - if there is imminent fear of death or serious bodily injury.
The Tennessee Legislature, under a Republican super majority and working hand-in-hand with Governor Lee, once again did nothing significant to advance the rights protected by the 2nd Amendment in Tennessee. In particular, they REFUSED to repeal the "intent to go armed" and "parks statutes.
Perhaps their problems with the Second Amendment (or their oaths) are beyond their control. Perhaps they need help to actually keep the promises that they made.
Perhaps, this might help.

Tennessee passes another misleading and confusing gun control law - a bill to protect property that denies you the right to protect property unless.... its a deadly force defense of life. @tnhousegop@tnsenategop
