Today was amazing. Thank you so, SO much to my fellow rescue friends who came out to join the Organization for Responsible Care of Animals (ORCA) in celebrating their 43rd birthday & Open House.๐๐ง๐๐
Just as importantly, TY for helping ORCA celebrate their renewed commitment to their mission, which is to help any in-distress ill/injured stray in Lancaster county. ORCA's board & staff strive to do their very best for the animals they are entrusted to help, and it was wonderful to feel the love & support from the local rescue community!

@TxTee361 @DirectorLochton @Kaos_Vs_Control Same here. I had a kid hit me when I was pulling out into traffic when he was going the WRONG WAY on a one way street in the pouring rain.
@alexwg Some interesting things happening, but it's certainly not the singularity.
That won't be coming along until at the very least we reduce the power consumption of AI to amounts comparable to biological brains.
@MogbolahanCweet@ProfFeynman Those at least have more options to mitigate the problems. If one source of funding has issues, you can seek another.
However, as seen, if the government is your only source of funding then you are subject to its whims at any time. Govt is the greatest monopoly there is.
@MaileOnX@jk_rowling The definition of man and woman is based on the type of gametes that individual has/had the capacity to produce. Every human being produces either sperm (male), ova (female), or neither, due to injury or disease. What you produce is what you are.
@UAW You know this is just going to make Penn State reduce the number of graduate positions?
You may think you're helping, but it just makes things worse.
@Shenand44109175@rohanpaul_ai Same here.
I didn't start my PhD this year due to the funding crisis, but I'm using my master's to research along this path. I also did my undergrad thesis along these lines: https://t.co/Z8I6PvyPkO
