Yesterday we took off to Toledo for lunch at Trojan Inn and enjoyed the best banana cream pie. Then we continued on to Gladbrook for the Matchstick Marvels Museum. It was a fun day for all!

Sunday was National Pecan Day, so of course we celebrated accordingly! Residents enjoyed pecan pie, pecan cookies, pecan spinwheels, butter pecan ice cream, and...pecans!

It was all hands in deck to fill nearly 1,000 eggs with candy for tomorrow’s Easter Egg Hunt!

Our Daisy Troop friends came back to have their mentors help them put Spider Plants into the tin cans they painted at their last visit. When they were all finished, the Daisy Troop delivered them to our long-term care residents.
