@ProfessorF It's fairly simple really. I'd say a strong majority of the country is center-right/center-left. Myself, I'm both depending on the issue. The GOP has been governing Uber-right on everything, and doing poorly. When the results are felt, you can't spin it. And you get a blue wave.
