@galexc6 @kirstiealley Our property taxes were doubled this spring with no warning. They raised our property value instead of the tax rate and this happened to every homeowner in the county. To me it's theft.

@zen310 @kirstiealley Right, after home owners pay enough taxes to support the educational system in our state. Renters only pay income, excise, and sales tax. It's thievery, plain and simple. Imagine how much property tax the people you listed actually paid while they owned that home.

@intaxicatedblog @kirstiealley But in my state renters do not pay property tax, upkeep, maintenance or anything. Property owners pay for the educations of the renters children and they do not pay taxes that support the schools. We are already paying thousands more than renters per year.
