@ThePoniExpress No. QBs like Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc all came from picks outside of the top 5. If the class is as deep as everyone says, there will be plenty of options for the Steelers.
@gcsportsguy97@ASaunders_PGH I agreed that i thought he was taken a round or two before he should have been. But my point is all it takes is one team to like him and take him and you lose out on someone you liked.
@ASaunders_PGH@DavidMTodd Also, alot of the draft grades seemed positive and they were listed in several "winners" of the draft columns. If they reached so much, why did they not get hammered in the grading?
@jpakey99@roscoe_p_ny Check my reply. I actually think they had a plan. Whether we disagree with it or not, he had a plan. Get an OL and WR 1st 2 rounds. Get another developmental QB. And then fill with athletic needs. And who is to say the rest of the NFL thought the picks were reaches.
@ASaunders_PGH Dont 100% disagree with the article. But I think they had a plan to come out of the first two rounds with a OL and WR. When the WR got taken (which i agree was bad optically) they pivoted to the OL. And they were aggressive in the 2nd to get the WR I hoped they would.
