Dr. Ben Bikman.
Mark Hyman just sat down with the head of the world's leading aging research institute.
Dr. Eric Verdin.
He dismantled everything mainstream medicine gets wrong about aging.
6 things that changed how I think about my health:
1) Cholesterol is 7x less important than your age
A MIT professor gave a 1-hour lecture in 2019 that has 18 million views.
He died 5 months after recording it.
It was his final gift to the world.
Patrick Winston taught at MIT for 50 years.
The smartest engineers on earth sat in his classroom.
And he spent his last lecture teaching them the one skill their degrees never covered.
How to speak.
15 lessons that will change how you communicate forever:
Never open with a joke. Your audience is not ready to laugh yet. Open with a promise of what they will know by the end.
Your ideas are like your children. You are too close to them. What is obvious to you is invisible to everyone else. Explain the obvious.
The 5-minute rule: the first 5 minutes of any talk determine whether people will listen for the next 55. Spend more time on your opening than anything else.
Repeat your most important idea 3 times in 3 different ways. Once is never enough.
Build a fence around your idea. Tell people what it is NOT before you tell them what it IS.
Verbal punctuation. Pause. Let the idea land before moving to the next one.
Ask questions nobody will answer. Then wait 7 seconds. The silence is not awkward. It is processing.
Never read your slides. Your audience can read. They cannot listen and read simultaneously.
Use the board not the slides. Writing forces you to slow down. Slowing down forces clarity.
Inspire before you inform. Nobody learns from someone they are not inspired by.
End with a contribution not a summary. Tell them what you gave them. Not what you said.
Never say thank you at the end. It is weak. End with something that lands.
Stories make ideas stick. Data makes ideas understood. You need both. In that order.
The quality of your communication determines the quality of your ideas in the eyes of the world. Not the ideas themselves.
Practice is not preparation. Practice IS the skill.
Patrick Winston understood something most people spend their entire careers missing.
Your ideas are only as powerful as your ability to transfer them into someone else's mind.
You can be the smartest person in the room and be completely invisible.
Or you can master communication and make average ideas feel like breakthroughs.
He chose to spend his last lecture teaching this.
Watch it tonight.

Scientists have created one of the most detailed 3D reconstructions of a human cell (eukaryotic cell) ever produced.
This groundbreaking model, often termed a "Cellular Landscape Cross-Section Through a Eukaryotic Cell," combines data from X-ray tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and cryo-electron microscopy to map molecular structures in extreme detail.
You Will Leave Everything
The most important day of your life will the day of your death. Think about that. On that day, nothing else will matter except what you have done for God and where you are going. Your house, your car, your money, your sports will mean nothing on that day. You will be leaving time and entering into eternity. Meditate on that breathtaking moment. In the exhale of one breath, you will leave everything you love. Your wedding ring. Your spouse. Your loved ones. Your vehicle. Your money. Everything. Tonight, God could say to you, "This night your soul is required of you." Let such sobering thoughts consume you. Let them drive you to use your life for what matters, to reach out to the unsaved and make a big dent in this sinful world.
There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
Finland tracked every gender-referred adolescent in the country for up to 25 years.
Their psychiatric needs didn't improve after 'gender reassignment'. They surged.
A landmark peer-reviewed study just dropped. Here's what it found. 🧵
In this crazy sci-fi movie I once saw, some evil overlords started implementing "energy, food and water scarcity" plans where they provided the humans not only with governments handouts in the form of universal basic income, but with their versions of food and water. These comprised synthetic, microplastic, GMO, mRNA-laced, endocrine disrupting products: fake food and dead water.
It was just enough to sustain the humans for persistent harvesting (and not just data).
Scary movie. @walterkirn
A man deposits $10,000 in a bank.
The bank thanks him and records the deposit on its balance sheet. But not where you might expect. For the bank, that $10,000 is actually a liability – because technically it belongs to the customer and might have to be returned.
So the bank does what banks do. It lends $9,000 of that money to someone buying a car.
Now something interesting happens. The $9,000 loan appears on the bank’s books as an asset – because someone now owes the bank money.
So the same $10,000 is doing two jobs at once. The depositor believes he has $10,000 safely in the bank. The borrower now has $9,000 to spend.
That $9,000 gets deposited somewhere else. The next bank lends $8,100. That gets deposited again. Then $7,290 gets lent out.
Soon the original $10,000 has quietly turned into tens of thousands of dollars of loans scattered across the economy.
Everyone believes they have money. Depositors see balances in their accounts. Borrowers have the money they spent. Banks show healthy assets on their balance sheets because people owe them money.
And here’s the best part.
Banks charge interest on all those loans – maybe 7%. But the depositor who supplied the original money might earn only 0.5% on their savings account.
So banks collect interest on money that mostly wasn’t theirs to begin with – and keep the difference.
The system works beautifully.
As long as nobody asks for the money back at the same time.
@elonmusk Happy Valentine's Day @elonmusk . May you always be under God's blessing and protection. May all you do be for the greater good and God's glory.
Oh. My. God.

Steve Jobs built one of the most valuable companies in history, amassed unimaginable wealth, and changed the world with his vision.
Yet in his final months, battling pancreatic cancer, he reportedly reflected on how little joy work alone brought him—how praise and riches faded to insignificance against the reality of death.
You can hire someone to drive your car or make money for you… but no one can carry your illness.
Material things can be replaced. Life cannot.
As we age, the $300 watch and $30 watch both tell the same time.
The $150,000 car and $30,000 car take the same roads.
A 300 sqm home or 3,000 sqm home can feel just as lonely.
True happiness? It comes from love—for family, spouse, friends.
From treating yourself and others well.
From companions who laugh, talk, and share life with you.
Jobs' story reminds us:
Don’t wait until the curtain falls to realize what matters most.
A biological miracle is happening in accelerated learning centers.
Researchers successfully implanted procedural memories—like piano playing, language vocabulary, and martial arts movements—using transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with virtual reality.
Test subjects with ZERO piano experience played intermediate pieces after just one 20-minute session.
Skill retention lasted 6 months without practice, with 91% accuracy maintained.
The process works by mimicking the neural firing patterns of experts.
Brain scans from master pianists create "skill maps" that are then induced in novices through targeted electromagnetic pulses.
The hippocampus and motor cortex form new synaptic connections 40 times faster than traditional learning.
Education systems face obsolescence as corporations race to commercialize instant expertise.
