@RepNancyMace Yes, you’re right @RepNancyMace, but here in America we also speak French, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Arabic, and dozens of other languages.
That’s one of the things that makes America, America. 🇺🇸
THIS IS HORRIFIC! Here's something you can do right now. Go to https://t.co/WqTv2WDGlW , find your representatives and senators, call each one of them and tell them that this violent treatment of human beings, including tormenting of children NEEDS TO STOP RIGHT NOW!
ICE vehicles hit their car while their children were inside. Then agents dragged the parents out during drop-off and a preschool graduation, in front of crying kids. All on school property.
https://t.co/du9bv2U4pY confirms that schools are supposed to be safe places for children, not federal ambush zones.
That’s not public safety. That’s state-sponsored trauma.
The ammunition to fight ICE is here: https://t.co/Txyhf9LSil
@Sheila_Venable@SeeRacists Yes. I was responding to the photos and allegations in this story (calling them monsters, inhuman); it seemed more visceral to me than any I've read about responses to folks implicated in "the Epstein files." Rich alleged criminals seem to be spoken about with less disgust.
@KarenNyere@SeeRacists I agree. What troubles me is that it's very easy for unscrupulous billionaire business people to rile us up about horrific individual crimes, while completely hiding the "white collar crimes" that are too boring to talk about but can have equally disturbing consequences.
@lindsaylou2022@SeeRacists 2/3 about these dramatic, horrific stories, but many don't even know how some very wealthy business people who value profit over human need are committing crimes that can hurt millions of people, even children - e.g. private companies running our centration camps.
@lindsaylou2022@SeeRacists 1/3 Good question. I apologize that I wasn't clear. I don't defend the actions. But I do defend the democratic principle of innocent until proven guilty. Mostly, I'm a "hate the sin, love the sinner" kind of chaplain. And I really care that people get all riled up...
@JYM093041@niallmatter We have some very talented members in our Niall fan group. This is just one of many of Nancy’s creations, and it’s a great way of honoring Niall for all to see. #allthingsniallmatter
@Violectical@lindsaylou2022@SeeRacists I am also a survivor. Thank you for making that point. We do need to face that human beings are quite capable of monstrous acts. I want people to recognize white collar crime as monstrous. E.G. Poisoning the drinking water of a whole community is not as "sexy", but it is as evil.
@MonaBaran@JoyceWhiteVance I can't help wondering, do you consider it judicial activism when the court rules in favor of Trump's agenda? For example, this supreme court has okayed Alabama's redistricting maps, despite lower court rulings that they are racially discriminatory. This is a GOP initiative.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support that @MichelleObama has poured into me over the years. Her story — from her South Side roots to the White House and beyond — is a central part of the Obama Presidential Center.

These Democrats Are Moving the Democratic Party into the Future
A new generation of Democrats is reclaiming the narrative and showing the Democratic Party how to fight back.
@SeeRacists These "monsters" are human beings. If guilty they will be punished. But where is the outrage about the ultra-wealthy alleged rapists of children in the Epstein files? Trump might pardon convicted child sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell. She's richer & thinner. Does that make it ok?
