🚨 BREAKING: Texas DPS has officially added the Tesla Cybercab Robotaxi to their Connected Autonomous Vehicles First Responder Interaction Plans page.

This is a significant milestone. Cybercab launch in Texas is getting very close.

GOOD NEWS 🇺🇸 California has dropped a massive tailwind for the zero-emission freight world, and it has some fascinating implications for the Tesla Semi.

Under the new Clean Fuel Reward program, Class 8 trucks qualify for a staggering $120,000 reward. Even better, the fine print reveals that this can be stacked with other incentives up to 90% of the vehicle's price.

When fleet operators combine this with the federal $40,000 commercial EV tax credit, the upfront cost barrier compared to legacy diesel is essentially obliterated.

For Tesla, this acts as a supreme margin catalyst rather than a traditional demand builder.

Tesla isn't demand-constrained. With massive pre-orders from giants like PepsiCo and Walmart already on the books, they remain heavily supply-constrained as wider production ramps up.

This massive subsidy provides incredible pricing power, ensuring Tesla won't need to lower MSRPs to compete with diesel. Every single Semi they can physically build will be instantly swallowed by the market—proving once again that the true metric to watch is how fast they can scale assembly lines at Giga Nevada.

This setup creates an incredibly exciting, high-velocity sprint for fleet operators looking to transition.

The current funding window allocates $90 million for Class 7 and 8 vehicles, meaning the first 750 trucks to cross the finish line will secure a massive competitive advantage.

While the overall program features a headline-grabbing $1 billion budget distributed over multiple years, this initial window is the perfect spark to ignite rapid adoption. It gives fleets the ultimate incentive to act fast, lock in their orders, and supercharge their logistics right now.

Grok 4.5, based on our 1.5T V9 foundation model, with Cursor data added in supplemental training, is now in private beta at SpaceX & Tesla. Early evals show performance close to, perhaps exceeding Opus.

RL is continuing to significantly improve the model, and the Grok Build harness gets better every day.

Completely trained from scratch new models will be released by @SpaceX every month this year.
