Quite the splitscreen;

I joined @SenatorShaheen & @SenJoniErnst at the @UN to discuss with officials how the U.S. & other nations can best support Afghan women & girls under Taliban rule. We will continue to support human rights in Afghanistan as well as address the severe humanitarian crisis.
In a @nytimes letter to editor, Sens. Susan Collins, Jeanne Shaheen, Lisa Murkowski call coverage of @kyrstensinema's fashion choices "sexist"
"We cannot imagine The Times printing similar pieces on the fashion choices of any of our male colleagues."

"As she cast her 8,000th vote, cheers rang out in the chamber and her Senate colleagues showered her in confetti."

Our group of 10 worked night and day to deliver this bipartisan infrastructure agreement, and tonight’s strong 67-32 vote to advance it shows that Congress can work together to find common ground on an issue that affects each and every American.
Today at the White House, our bipartisan group announced an agreement on an historic infrastructure package. It was not easy, but after much hard work and negotiation, we have agreed on the price tag, the scope, and how to pay for it.

The reports highlighting the stark disparity between the men’s & women’s weight rooms at the #MarchMadness tournament are unacceptable. Making it to the big dance is an extraordinary accomplishment for all our young athletes. The @NCAA should resolve this issue at once.
By a vote of 99-1, the Senate passed an amendment I introduced with @Sen_JoeManchin that would target future stimulus checks to low- and middle-income families who need assistance as opposed to upper-income taxpayers.

Tonight, I voted to reaffirm the foundation of our democracy – the Constitution of the United States – and I rejected these challenges to the Electoral College.

The lawlessness and violence on Capitol Hill today was a dangerous, shameful, and outrageous attack on our democracy. But this attack will not deter Congress from performing our constitutional duty. We will affirm the certified results of the presidential election.
Another fact of note.
@SenatorCollins is the only sitting U.S. Senator who has won re-election three times when her State voted for a presidential candidate of the other party.
Clinton (‘96), Obama (‘08), & Biden (‘20) all won in Maine.
And so did Senator Collins.

We worked night and day to put together an urgently needed emergency COVID package to support families, small businesses, health care providers, the Postal Service, schools, and so many others. Congress must come together and provide this relief.
