My 5 YO niece called me through Facebook messenger & when I answered she didnโt beat around the bush โAunt Amber I need book fair money plsโ
This baby got her some book fair money! She probly spent it on erasers, stickers, & a posterโฆ. As one does. A tale as old as time. ๐

2. Drink water this morning. For your kidneys and gut.
3. Walk. Use your legs. Take the stairs. Exercise. For your heart and blood vessels.
4. Don't take things personally. For your mental health.
5. Hydrate throughout today. Have a bottle of water by your side. For your body functions.
6. Repost. For others.
I think when youโre transitioning from being a people pleaser into someone with more boundaries it can feel so weird โ it's hard to tell if youโre being mean or if youโre actually just respecting your own feelings, because youโre so used to putting other people's feelings first.
Random tidbit--I wasn't raised in a home where seatbelts were ever...mandated? Or even suggested really? (Not a diss to my parents, just is what it is). They would've rather sat in front of a buckled in seat belt to avoid the beeping than to just put it on--con't below.
I was involved in a pretty severe accident heading home this afternoon and want to use this opportunity to emphasize the importance of seatbelt use.
The driver who hit me head to head was not wearing a seatbelt, I was. The hit we both took was technically equal. He lost consciousness after hitting his head and losing blood- had to be taken by an ambulance. I just have some hip pain from the seatbelt contact point.
Seatbelts save lives, seatbelts are public health.
Thank you to the Cleveland police, fire department, and EMS who were here expeditiously.
