CNN’s Jake Tapper tried to force Tom Homan into committing whether ICE agents would leave airports now that TSA has been ordered to be paid.

Homan refused to take the bait — instead, he laid out exactly how ICE is keeping airports secure.

TAPPER: “Once TSA agents start getting paid, will ICE agents leave the airports?”

HOMAN: “We’ll see. You know, it depends how many TSA agents come back to work, how many TSA agents have actually quit and have no plan coming back to work.”

“I’m working very closely with TSA administrator and the ICE director to decide what airport needs what.”

“But you know, God bless the men and women of ICE. They’re there doing the job, plugging those holes, keeping airport security at a high level, again, because of heightened threat.”

“Thank God the ICE agents are there, protecting the exit lanes, doing identification checks, plugging the security holes. We’ve got to keep the airport safe. We’ve got to keep the American people moving through those lines.”

Bernie Sanders - millionaire socialist, owner of three houses, champion of the working class - was just caught flying Delta First Class out of Washington while the TSA agents he helped screw over cannot pay their bills.

Then he walked straight past those same underpaid workers, handed his bag to the First Class attendant, and settled into his seat without a moment of reflection.

Leaving New York City this morning and ICE agents were working the TSA lines. We were waiting in a massive line and if it weren’t for them I would’ve missed my flight.

They were so friendly and helpful to everyone. One agent was chatting with a young family as they were going to Disney World.
