Please don't forget to say that you were incredibly rude to all volunteers that you encountered at one rescue. As you have been turned down by at least 2 rescues that I know of, you might like to consider your own attitude, which I would suggest is your biggest problem.

@BBCBreakfast I was brought up in a rural village and regularly saw my step-father beat my mother before he eventually turned on me. He totally controlled us. It was so hard to leave or get help because villages can be so self-contained yet disbelieving of personal problems.
