A legal challenge should be brought against @amazon for cancelling Stargate.

Dodge v. Ford Motor Co. established that directors' duty is to operate the corporation primarily for the benefit of shareholders.

Cancelling a fan-faithful revival (per reports: 'appealed too much to core fans') damages the MGM/Stargate IP asset & shareholder value. Not a smart business judgment, but instead passing moral judgement at the expense of the brand and AMZN stock.

#Stargate Fans + $AMZN shareholders should push back, it is their value that is being destroyed here.

-We may have lost the new Stargate series, but I have gained incredible respect for the creative development team behind the original series:
-@BaronDestructo and the writing team were extremely dedicated to creating a new chapter of our beloved series, but also fiercely protective of it, so when he says the series "avoided the pitfalls of several modern remakes and reboots" we know he and the team fought the good fight.
-Lessor creators would have caved and made the slop. The Stargate creative team did not. For that, I am grateful. I'd rather have no new show, than one that "forgot where it came from".

@bradtravelers Brad, you guys made one of the greatest shows that has ever happened. As much as I really wish we could have seen what was going to be, I am at least comforted I can go back and watch what came before. And it is awesome.
