Stablecoins are evolving beyond speculation into financial infrastructure. As AI accelerates value creation, the next question is: how does value move at internet speed?
I explored the thesis, the signals, and what it could mean for the digital economy. https://t.co/UTFsEQ3ehu
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 US mortgage rates surge to highest level since 2023.
• The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate has risen to 7.6%, the highest level since 2023, making homeownership very expensive for buyers.
• The 10-year Treasury yield surged to its highest level since 2002 after recording its largest quarterly increase since 1994.
• The 30-year Treasury yield also increased to 5.69% as investors continued selling US government bonds.
The next big economy might not be human.
AI agents are moving from answering questions to taking actions.
And eventually, those actions will require payments.
An agent might need to:
→ Buy compute
→ Access an API
→ Purchase data
→ Pay another agent
→ Rent physical infrastructure
Doing that through traditional banking rails makes little sense.
This is where stablecoins get interesting.
Fast, programmable, global settlement makes them a natural candidate for machine-to-machine payments.
But there’s another layer people are overlooking:
Infrastructure.
AI provides the intelligence.
Stablecoins provide the money.
DePIN can provide the resources.
Compute. Connectivity. Storage. Sensors. Energy.
Put those layers together and you’re no longer just building “Web3.”
You’re building the rails for an economy where software can transact, coordinate and consume resources autonomously.
That’s the part of the AI × crypto intersection I’m watching closely.
Not the next AI token.
The infrastructure underneath the
machine economy.

@0xJeribond@X@virtualbacon Sir X don’t warn through Dms , they either notify you through your notifications or blocked you out so u could sort it out while trying to log back.
They rarely send an email too
I’ve been quiet.
Not because I stopped paying attention.
I’ve been thinking about where Web3 actually creates durable value.
And I keep coming back to one idea:
The next phase of Web3 will be less about speculation and more about infrastructure.
Stablecoins are becoming payment rails.
DePIN is experimenting with decentralized infrastructure.
RWAs are bringing real-world assets onchain.
AI is creating new demand for compute, data and connectivity.
And Africa has a massive infrastructure gap.
That intersection is where things get interesting.
I’m increasingly convinced that the biggest opportunity isn't simply building another token.
It is building the rails, networks and systems that connect digital economies to the real world.
That's the space I'm going deeper into.
DeFi. DePIN. Digital infrastructure.
Back to building. 💪
