i don’t like being blindsided by micro transactions and removing features hidden behind all the new shiny stuff
i like the game a lot. the devs did a great job. whoever made the micro transaction decision did not #CFBPlayDontPay
BREAKING: Cleveland Cavaliers All-NBA star Donovan Mitchell has agreed on a four-year, $273 million maximum contract extension that includes a player option for the 2030-31 season and a full trade kicker, CAA's Co-Head of Basketball, Austin Brown, tells ESPN.
It like these athletes never had real jobs so they seem to forget that MOST people understand how basic taxes work at 15 when they get their 1st jobs..
JJ Redick says Michael Jordan and California are the reason NBA players and other athletes pay the jock tax
“I believe Michael Jordan was essentially the reason that athletes get taxed the same way that entertainers get taxed. At the height of MJ, this guy's earning $30 million on his NBA salary, and he's going and playing in the finals in these different states”
“I want to say it was California. They were like, ‘Ah, this is messed up. This guy should be paying us taxes while he's here. He's working. He's making a lot of money.’ So all these states instituted this tax”
“When people sign NBA contracts and it's like, ‘Oh, this guy's worth this amount of money,’ it's like, no. Cut it in half before the guy spends a dollar. In some states like California you probably cut it a little bit more than half because then you're paying agent fees as well”
“I remember you could negotiate like a 20% signing bonus on your rookie deal. I was expecting $200,000 to be deposited into my account on August 15th. I was like, ‘This is the most money I'll ever have.’ Then I saw the wire hit, and I was like, ‘Oh’”
Grizz media members spent 6 months, telling everyone it's not personal with Ja, it's just good for the franchise to move on...
But since he's been traded all you hear is sneak dissing from those same people... Why don't y'all just MOVE ON? TF y'all comparing fathers for 😂
America hates smart people because they can normally see through the propaganda BS that is spewed everyday. That’s why certain administration do their best to gut the educational systems. Keep them dumb and poor.
The way the Grizz been moving as an organization the last 2 yrs, it seems like they are trying to distance themselves from the fans...
Feels like they want to be the basketball version of the Belichek Patriots in the way they keep all info 🔒 down.
Don't work when you suck tho
It appears #Grizz still on the bs of not announcing their summer league roster to the literal last minute. Small in the grand scheme of things but I’ve just never understood why they do that.
Players thought they were empowered, when in reality they put roster building squarely back in the hands of the owners for a few extra mil to the top players 😂😂😂
The owners wanted to restrict player movement with the new CBA. So they made it to where only a players current team could throw exorbitant amounts of money at the player. But a funny thing has happened. No one wants to pay a guy that much unless he’s like undeniably an MVP.
An interesting stat from Yahoo Sports' @tomhaberstroh about what the Celtics have looked like without Jaylen Brown on the court 🤔

@SainAsylum This sounds boring but, I think they’re gonna play it safe and maintain the flexibility they have with the TPE’s going in to the season; see what you have on the roster (maybe they win early). Then some team ends up selling low on a star before deadline and the Griz step in.
Here’s every comment Tyler Herro said towards Bam Adebayo and stated he’s the one who needs help😳
“It’s a mf making 60 million but they worried about me and what I do”
“You should get paid 60 million to be a top tier defender on some nights? I'm just wondering”
“I need help, not the other guy”
“If I'm healthy I'm the one who needs help, who did Cleveland prioritize taking away in the playoffs?”
“I’m just saying should an elite defender be making 60 million a year? Answer that”
