@RealCandaceO Why continue to live like this? Sounds like constant anxiety, toxicity, and endless bickering and argumentation with an excessive side of hatred. Why not walk away from the politics? I feel like a constant focus on this back and forth will shave off years of one’s lifespan.
@Monroe1659842 Ooooh I actually really don’t like this. There are other ways to teach important survival skills without this kind of stress and trauma.
@AmericaPapaBear I can understand it being for temporary fun and enjoyment, something they’ll get to experience for a special day. It’s not my kind of way to spend money, but I can understand it for others.
@samueldemoraes3 Look, I didn’t like seeing the US lose either. But after an extra 7 minutes had already been given, there was an injury on the U.S. side that, I think, warranted even more time, they just didn’t update the additional extra time. So I understand that.
#Supergirl is a “super-horrendous” comic book movie “with the worst script I can remember,” reads Variety’s review from @OwenGleiberman.
James Gunn said he wasn’t going into production on any movie until the script was rock-solid. For that was the overriding problem with the superhero overkill era: the films had lousy scripts, which served as grids for layering visual effects.
Gunn was right to want to take the comic-book genre back to the basics of well-structured screenwriting. So what has he done in his second DC outing? He’s given us a comic-book movie with the worst script I can remember.

@Toribabieegirl High quality H20! honestly, tea occasionally. I grew up in track programs and my coaches always told me to avoid soda, so I did. Also, soda was perceived as an unnecessary expense in my household growing up. So no soda was engrained in my brain since childhood, I guess.
This is why soccer/futbol is the toughest sport in the entire world. This player took a BRUTAL cheap shot to the back from a ball kicked well over 100 mph. Not only was this warrior able to quickly and miraculously recover but he even managed to somehow FINISH THE GAME! ⚽️🔥
@WozzleBaby@Modster99 @0xtreysync @BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets Thanks for the suggested people to follow— I’ll look into them! I’m familiar with this notion of “feminized” Christianity, but not those figures. To be sure, I’m not saying to sacrifice justice or biblical truth. That would be leaning too far in the other direction. Thanks again!
@WozzleBaby@Modster99 @0xtreysync @BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets You make some great points here and I love your concern for the defenseless. We need that concern in the world. I’m merely saying I think the response was poorly timed and could be a little more compassionate. Biblical truth + gentleness (2 Tim. 2:25). That’s it.
@WozzleBaby@Modster99 @0xtreysync @BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets If he committed those sins against his child or wife and expressed remorse, I’d do my best to emulate Christ: be firm with biblical truth but in loving kindness— God did that for me, an enemy, and I’m called to do the same. It would be hard, but with the Spirit’s guidance I’d try
@Modster99@WozzleBaby @0xtreysync @BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets Jesus weeped w/ those who weeped & was unusually compassionate to people with troubled pasts. At the same time he told them to sin no more. There’s a way to communicate God’s truth in a loving way. That’s all. Just something to consider.
@Modster99@WozzleBaby @0xtreysync @BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets There’s no sensitivity or empathy in the post. Not even 24 hours goes by & he comments: you murdered your child. And after the father communicated emotional turmoil and an understanding of the weightiness of the situation. I don’t think that’s the appropriate response
@WozzleBaby @0xtreysync @BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets With gentleness, kindness, and love. When we lean too far on telling the truth to someone we forget God’s guidelines in this and justify being unloving and unChrist-like.
@BenZeisloft@McJuggerNuggets As a brother in Christ, I encourage you to consider timing, choice of words, and the practice of empathy. They clearly know the implications of abortion and they weep over it. This is a complex matter as explained in the post. Perhaps in this case it’s between them and God.
