I can’t stand the “leave the pits open when a yellow is impending” cadence

Everyone is well aware of the strategies. Don’t want to get burned by a yellow? Don’t extend your window to the max

It’s a disincentive to drivers that pit early and push to the max

A shameful delay in that yellow flag. At some point, safety has to come before an attempt to preserve organic racing

Not everything needs a yellow, but we’ve had two today where safety seemed to be secondary or tertiary in the hierarchy
