...he actually isn't afraid of the dark, but he has to pretend he is.

My MC would probably start crying after all the horrors that the plot of the story has put them through. (don't worry, they'll be fine. nobody dies in that story)

make sure your computer updates are current (adobe, hardware updates, etc)

make sure your recording software is up to date (uninstall/reinstall?)
