Proud hybrid of British, Kiwi and European values. Tweets about science, technology, business and the sheer monstrous stupidity of modern British politics.
@sonofr Folks. Posters like this shoot your campaign in the face. If you disagree with Keir, either join labour and campaign internally to change policy or focus on taking Tories down and getting proEU candidates elected. If you just trash and divide the opposition, you return Tories.
@CoinTracker I’ve been locked out for months since I lost my phone. I have tried contacting your support three times to reset MFA. I cannot access the account, I cannot even cancel the account. My only option seems to be to ask my bank to cut you off. Any chance of some help?
@HenryPryor I didn't hear anything about SDLT in the budget at all. Did they change their minds, or might this just be buried in the legislation somewhere?
@GregHands@Jeremy_Hunt@Conservatives@CCHQPress There was a little thing called the global financial crisis going on at the time… you guys will leave the same letter, a more divided country, aging and broken public infrastructure, a shattered reputation abroad and far more debt than we had back then. Pot kettle black.
@fascinatorfun@Fern_Britton@GaryLineker Fiona, I generally agree with what you say, but I think that it is a mistake to assume that someone who has worked as a presenter on the BBC doesn’t know about BBC contracts. I’m sure that Fern has seen quite a few first hand.
@bullsboy@ballantine70 The BBC trying to exercise control over a personal social media account is definitely out of keeping with a B2B arrangement. Their only legit recourse would be to ask GaryLineker & co to provide a different, less controversial representative. Otherwise it’s clearly inside IR35.
@ballantine70 I am wondering the very same thing… if it all plays out after CoE closes the double taxation loophole, Gary might be due for a generous refund.
