Here’s a hard truth for you, @RahmEmanuel: Today’s Democrats will never nominate you for President. You seem to think you can appease the Israel-haters in your party by “getting tough” with Israel while still purporting to be a “real friend” of Israel. You can’t. No matter how far you throw Israel under the bus, it will never be enough for them. They will never forgive you for claiming to be a friend of Israel and, more to the point, for being Jewish (even if you fully debase yourself like Wiener and Lander have). So, rather than inflicting further reputational damage on Israel in a futile attempt to find a path to the presidency, and rather than trying to impose unworkable solutions on Israel that would put Israelis in further danger, please accept your reality with dignity.
