@TaylorChaseFL He commented on this in a recent interview. Basically he values winning over Gator nation and giving fans a peak behind the curtain, and has carved out time in his current schedule to be open for media. He said when fall starts he’ll have a lot less time to do it.
Update 4/9/26
Good evening,
Due to complications with reflux that are affecting her oxygen saturation levels, she has been admitted to the hospital once again for further evaluation and close monitoring. To bypass her stomach, they will place a feeding tube through her nose into her small intestines. This will allow them to test if the reflux will stop. Other tests will follow, but we don’t know what they will be yet. This is trial and error right now. The doctors believe that close observation will help us get some rest and not stress throughout the night because of her possible aspiration. This is a major concern because of her other conditions she’s been diagnosed with since being released from the NICU and PICU.
Her conditions include:
- Congenital heart condition (post-surgery care)
- Chronic lung disease of prematurity
- Feeding challenges (G-tube dependent)
- Ongoing therapies and medical care
We genuinely appreciate the love and support you’ve shown us during this incredibly difficult time. Initially, we thought surviving the NICU and PICU was the most challenging aspect, but the ongoing challenges and stresses associated with her conditions have proven to be even more taxing.

From early returns on 2027 class visits, I also get the sense UF will be very aggressive recruiting the LOS at the high school level this year, which is probably the right way to approach it.
Something has to be done. College football has to end sooner. We don’t need 2-3 weeks between the end of the season and the playoffs starting. Jan 1 end is ideal. Max one week later. Push the season up. Get the games played. We continue to do things that don’t make any sense.
Can you imagine the groundbreaking information "the press" would have gotten had she not taken ::checks notes:: 19 seconds?
An unsurprising holier-than-thou statement from a very expected person.
@CorryAKnowles It could be, but plenty of others are doing it yearly & it’s expected in transition classes now. Have to hope the personnel/scouting dept can do their jobs.
Bigger point is they need 3* types to fill out the roster like in a HS class. If they get 4-5* money that’s another issue
