5- if you think 1000s of educators and parents are up in arms about “having a day off”, you are quite mistaken.
6- it would have been extremely foolish not to call today off.

2- you did not travel the entire county so how would you know how many roads were good?
3-one child’s safety is worth everything to close.

If ANY students or staff or families could be at risk (and it was well more than 2%, let me assure you-try 10-30% at least, and that’s a large number here), then they should close. They gambled with people’s lives.

When it comes to weather, decisions are made district-wide. All or nothing, basically.

Have also seen pictures of flooded-out roads and have heard from others who have lost power. It’s an obvious safety issue, here
