Let's be clear. Of course we're horrified. Of course we condemn it. Of course this is NOT our religion.

But the fact that the public are always asking us to condemn it is based upon the bigoted presumption that violence has a place in our religion and it DOESN'T.

Always shocks me to hear about men out there proposing to reverts and then intentionally misinforming them about their rights in a marriage.

These are reverts who are new to the religion, pushed away by their family because of their conversion and rely on Muslims for support.
