Did you know that Line 1 — historically known as the Yonge line — was Canada's first subway? In the 70-plus years since it opened, it's certainly grown. And now, it's growing again.

The Yonge North Subway Extension will make getting around faster and easier for people in York Region and Toronto, reducing travel times and traffic congestion while getting thousands of riders where they need to go each day.
