HELP POLICE LOCATE MISSING CHAMILLA JO-ANN RODERICK

Police in Odendaalsrus have registered a missing person's file and request assistance from the public in locating Chamilla Jo-Ann Roderick (18) who was reported #missing in Odendaalsrus.

It is alleged that Chamilla was last seen on Friday, 25 September 2026. She allegedly left her home in K10 Kutlwanong to submit a Curriculum Vitae in Welkom. No one has seen or heard from her since. Efforts to locate her were all in vain.

Chamilla was last seen wearing a white shirt with stripes, a black cropped top and navy blue Redbat slides.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Chamilla Jo-Ann Roderick can contact Odendaalsrus police on 082 864 0004. Alternatively, contact the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111 or send information anonymously on the MySAPS App.

WATCH: A video reportedly shows a suspected drug dealer allegedly caught dealing in drugs in Wierda Park, Centurion.

A father claims the man was caught selling drugs to his son.

He was apparently taken to Weirdbrug Police Station. But when enquiries were made at the station, there was no record of his arrest.

MISSING PERSON: PIENAAR POLICE REQUEST PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING 16-YEAR-OLD GRESHEM GALELA MASHABA

Police in Pienaar, Mpumalanga, are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Greshem Galela Mashaba, who was reported #missing.

Mashaba was last seen on Sunday, 7 September 2026, when he left his residence in Pienaar, Mpumalanga, in the morning to go to school. However, he did not report to school and never returned home.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white school shirt, a green jacket and grey school trousers.

Anyone who may have information regarding Mashaba’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Constable LL Magagula, on 013 794 9309.

#sapsLIM [TWO CONGOLESE NATIONALS ARRESTED WITH BLASTING CARTRIDGES WORTH R100 000 IN MUSINA]

Two Congolese nationals aged 23 and 32 have been arrested for unlawful possession of explosives after police seized 1,312 blasting cartridges valued at approximately R131 200-00 in Nancefield, Musina policing area on Thursday, 24 September 2026.

The arrests followed information received by police about a brown Suzuki with Gauteng registration numbers suspected of transporting explosives. Members of SAPS traced and intercepted the vehicle at Musina at approximately 09:55.

Upon searching the vehicle, police discovered a pink 50kg sack containing suspected explosives. The Bomb Technician Unit and the Musina Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC) were summoned to the scene. The explosives were examined and confirmed to be 1,312 blasting cartridges with an estimated street value of R131 200-00.

The driver and his passenger were immediately arrested and charged with unlawful possession of explosives. The Musina Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) will conduct further investigations.

The suspects are expected to appear before the Musina Magistrate's Court on Monday, 28 September 2026.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Jan Scheepers, commended the members for their swift response and successful recovery of the explosives.

“Illegal possession of explosives will not be tolerated. We will continue to intensify operations to prevent these dangerous materials from falling into the wrong hands,” said Lieutenant General Scheepers. ML
