I agree with this statement, and am grateful to @SecWar Hegseth for correcting the error:
“The Pentagon’s job is not to adjudicate theological debates, but instead to ensure sincerely-held faith is respected and encouraged in our ranks.”
@BrianMikeKlein@BasedMikeLee@SecWar What an ignorant response. This has undone nothing. If anything it has allowed for less and less precedent to exist for prejudice.
I’m one of “they” please read them. Read all the words of prophets and apostles that you can get your hands on. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has always been taught by his servants the prophets as is taught in Amos 3:7. And once you’ve read or heard anything, pray and ask if what you’ve learned is true, waiting upon the Lord for an answer from the Holy Spirit.
I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and no matter what anyone else says, I am a Christian. It is only through the Only Begotten of the Father, even Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, even our Great Redeemer, that we can be atoned.
All I know, is that I’m on the side that doesn’t kill anyone, nor celebrates the killing of anyone, nor fantasizes about the killing of anyone...
…just for winning an election
That’s what side I’m on.
The First Presidency has announced new age-group names for young women—names that reflect their identity, growth, and purpose.
The new age-group names are:
• Builders of Faith (young women turning 12 or 13)
• Messengers of Hope (young women turning 14 or 15)
• Gatherers of Light (young women turning 16 or older)
Young Women General President Emily Belle Freeman said the spiritual significance of the names became especially clear to her during a recent visit with young women in Tahiti.
“As the girls sang, I was inspired to think of these covenant-keeping young women whose purpose and mission would be to build faith, share hope, and gather and reflect light around the world,” President Freeman said. “My eyes teared up as I realized the Spirit had been leading this process all along, inspiring names of faith, hope, and light that would help God’s daughters live as disciples of Christ and prepare them to enter a lifelong sisterhood of charity—the Relief Society.”

In this sacred Easter season, our hearts turn with deep gratitude and reverent devotion to our Savior, Jesus Christ and remember His merciful mortal ministry, His perfect love, and His marvelous gift of the Atonement.
The Savior teaches that He is the true, trusted, and essential source of spiritual nourishment for our souls:
“I am the true vine… ye are the branches: he that abideth in [Me], and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without [Me] ye can do nothing” (John 15:1, 4–5).
Through Him, we receive strength beyond our own to not only survive the challenges of life, but to grow and thrive. Through Him life becomes more hopeful and more joyful, and the fruits of the Spirit are manifested in us.
Therefore, just as branches cannot bear fruit of themselves unless they remain connected to the vine, neither can we reach our full spiritual measure unless we abide in Jesus Christ and His gospel.
In this sacred Easter season, I solemnly testify that Jesus Christ is the True Vine. He lives.
He rose from the dead, and His redeeming power is real. I bear witness that His voice is the voice of truth and life. With perfect love, He invites all to abide in Him and to continue in His love, that we may recognize His power in our lives, that God’s love may be perfected in us, and we may know that we are in Him. #GeneralConference
He died for us so that we could be redeemed. What a Good Friday indeed. There is no greater love than Christ's willing sacrifice for us! As we use Good Friday to remember Jesus Christ, how will you follow His example of love?
In this special and sacred Easter season, I joyfully declare my witness that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the Eternal Father. He lives. He is risen. #GreaterLove
The road to redemption began with “hosanna.” As we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, may our hearts welcome Him this Easter season.
Nearly 2000 years ago, Palm Sunday marked the beginning of the last week of the mortal ministry of Jesus Christ. Scriptures tell us that the week began with throngs standing at the gates of the city to see “Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee” (Matthew 21:11).
Though we do not stand at the gates of Jerusalem today with palms in our hands, the time will come when “all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, [will stand] before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands” (Revelation 7:9). #GreaterLove

Temple Square looks less like a construction site and more like Easter this paschal season.
For the first time since 2020, all scaffolding has been removed from the Salt Lake Temple exterior, and tower cranes no longer hover over the pioneer-era house of the Lord.
Art-glass windows being installed in the walls of the north entrance buildings. Easter displays are also up on Temple Square.
The latest renovation update includes that the Salt Lake Temple open house will be April 5 through Oct. 1, 2027. Members of the public are invited to tour the historic structure seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., before the temple’s rededication.

For nearly six years, the Salt Lake Temple has been surrounded by scaffolding that supported the sacred structure as it was renovated. This week, the scaffolding has been removed, marking another milestone.
As the scaffolding comes down, consider the supports in our lives that steady and strengthen us: faith in God, family and the Savior's love.
From April through October 2027, whether in person or virtually, all are invited to experience the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, including the opportunity to tour the interior of this house of the Lord.
