Met with the SEC today. We’ll continue pushing for a clear rule book in the U.S. for crypto regs.
The U.S. can’t afford to fall behind on this important technology to update the financial system.
Also important for regulators to set policy and THEN enforce it. Not start with enforcement before there are clear rules 🧐 At this point seems like congress will need to step in.
@HollyBell8 Serious answer: it’s so parents can trade off the kids who are too young for the ride, but still have the family all wait in line together. Mom rides, then takes kid and Dad gets to ride.
@Prof_Bruckner First Gen college student. Never went to prof office hours because I didn’t know what I was supposed to do there. Never went to discuss a grade, exam, paper. I thought I had to figure it out on my own. They may not know better.
Looking forward to joining Paul Kupiec at @AEI for a much needed discussion of crypto and regulation on Oct 4. @ddisparte@AMinehardt @MarkWetjen https://t.co/Tl7lQPlAVn
@robkhenderson Where I grew up (New England), a large house that looks large and grand from the front is terribly arriviste. A house that looks modest from the front but actually rambles out 10,000+ sq ft in back is simply building for your family’s comfort. Proclaiming status =no status.
1/ We have long been calling for a workable crypto securities framework. Today, @coinbase is formalizing those calls in a petition to @SECGov, requesting rules that work for digital asset securities. 🧵https://t.co/UyB979aDwS
