I genuinely feel bad for people who have to watch movies with me, so much so that I rarely watch with others because I couldn’t tell you the last movie I watched all the way through with no pauses, rewinds or distractions #ADHD
I have never actually watched Lord of the Rings, but they’re all like three hours long and make great background noise so I cannot tell you how many times I’ve played them over the years🔥 #ADHD#Neurodivergent#ASD
i love people who are like “ADHD is a superpower” lol then watch a movie with me…take a road trip or just talk to me with other sounds or people around us, ask me to make eye contact 🤣 superpower pfft

Snapping back to reality after a manic period is the wildest internal feeling. It’s like you start to realize what you’ve done or said but it absolutely feels like someone else did and said all of those things but you’re left taking accountability. #ADHD#Manic#Autism

Intense, abrasive sensory input can cause physical pain for some folks with sensory processing issues.
When already coping with other stressors (such as being tired, sick, or emotional) the amount of stimuli needed to cause this pain can change
