@KathrynPorter26@MarkDampier@CoppiceJT I agree we'll need gas as a responsive rotating source, but I would disagree with you that wind is a waste of money. What ever gas can be displaced by wind is a good thing, and the market should be allowed to determine if it's profitable. Ultimately, lots of nuclear is the way 👍
It’s ~impossible to explain how we in Finland feel about Russia to someone who didn’t grow up here. A couple of years ago, my new PhD student was worried about the war, and I tried to reassure her by telling how it is. Half-way, I realized it’s going to be inexplicably complex:
