@peterrhague They tried making a sequel, WarGames: The Dead Code in 2008, and an online series #WarGames in 2018, neither of which were much good. I guess a 2028 remake might be better, but I don't hold out much hope. Quite liked WarGames Defcon 1 on PS1 though.

Thanks to https://t.co/b5WkNCXuLx, ollama and Sonnet 4.6 I was able to port an old OpenGL renderer project of mine across to Vulkan in one night.

Most of the heavy porting of OpenGL was done by Sonnet 4.6, but qwen3.5:4b running locally picked off quite a few bugs.

@80Level Modern AAA game development is unsustainable for the same reason as modern blockbuster films are: huge budgets that can't be recouped, and content people don't want. DS remake was great, but it was made in such a way it couldn't recoup its costs.
