@JoshuaMyth@LostLoreScholar Meh. That is largely a myth. They do use it... But so does MS-Word. If you type Yes - But, it will turn that bad boy into an em-dash when you hit the space after it.
@GrampsToolshed@VengerSatanis Have had a permit for years, but any list of "best military pistols" that does not include the 1911 - so good it is still mass produced a century later - is void.
@BasedMikeLee This is a super interesting philosophical discussion. Completely unsuited to X. I agree with the reasons provided, but I'm not convinced that if a religion says they are Christian, outsiders can say "No". because that opens the door for sects to try and eject each other.
We use a (larger) regional bank.
Pay 600 bucks for fish in the fish tank to a company we have never dealt with? No problem.
Pay 1200 for a weapon actually used in the Revolution to a company we rarely deal with? No problem.
Pay 15 bucks to Backerkit?
BANK WANTS TO KNOW IF FRAUD
The fight for control of Normandy will rage for not hours nor days, but multiple weeks. The allies will push Axis forces back, and expand their beachhead, until the entirety of the region is liberated and the drive on Paris can begin.
But now, at Omaha, at Utah, at Pointe du Hoc, a profound silence remains.
@GrampsToolshed As a forever DM with a lore-rich world I dole out as learned but also have players' guides for long-timers, I want a "Show results" button.
@ShamashAran Yeah, I think most of us see it more about "law abiding" than skin color. To quote my youngest (barely an adult) "It's not about skin color, it's about gangster culture"
@Helllother73764@nonregemesse Many Russians when I was there. Our interpreter actually made it a point to show me his hunting rifle and the permits he managed to get to buy one (late 90s). He was surprised I didn't want to shoot it right away like back home. I already mentioned my French friends (coworkers).
@Trevise57@nonregemesse They are not wrong either. in their two hour drive, they completely change culture. America imports them all, we only kinda change culture. In Michigan, you can get Lutefisk, hit the Tulip Festival, or enjoy traditional Oktoberfest. All celebrations of culture, not the culture.
