@responsekam @TJQ73 @Suburban_PC @DenM85 @Defencebrief There are two stated cases I believe from the 70’s the short answer is that the court deemed the officer had to be easily recognisable as a PC. 1 of the cases was because an officer wasn’t wearing a hat & had a rain Mac over his uniform he was deemed by the court to be in uniform
