@Debonperc Ok fellas, I've got a crazy idea.
If you're all so sure that women are wearing those cloths to the gym to get your attention, why not just- don't give them your attention? Ignore it.
@alexbruesewitz I'm an American and Alex does NOT speak for me, or so many others.
Americans fight fascism, we don't put pressure on its victims to fight with one hand behind their back.
@123skely Learn to take one experience with one woman and not generalize it all.
As a society we're coming to realize that no should mean no. And most people want you to respect that. But not everyone.
Be happy you dodged the bullet of someone who can't communicate directly
@TheAngelWindell It's so true. And people expect that your whole life will stop while you go through grief. But then you'll be over it and everything will go back to normal.
When the fact is I was grieving for a year. I had fun, saw friends, had sex, lived life.. but always grief was nearby
@BossDuffi@dumbbitchcap@nathano235 Alright the folks who care more about prejudice than science and facts have fouund this thread so I'm hitting mute. Enjoy your echo chamber.
@JunkMail165533@dumbbitchcap@nathano235 100% agreed. I'm in that boat, and its horrible. But when the rich tell you its the fault of the poor that you're struggling, you're a fool to fall for it. Our economy needs major fixing, and hurting poor people will absolutly not do it.
@mokeymokes@dumbbitchcap@nathano235 "Poverty rates and obesity were reviewed across 3,139 counties in the U.S. (2,6). People in America who live in the most poverty-dense counties are those most prone to obesity (Fig. 1A). Counties with poverty rates of >35% have obesity rates 145% greater than wealthy counties."
@mokeymokes@dumbbitchcap@nathano235 First the drug is far from universally sucsessful. Second you're reducing an incredibly complex set of biological factors to just one dynamic.
From the national library of medicine, https://t.co/JuDFmPeR6W quote in next response
@lizisamused This is a very good point, but I think a lot of it has to do with how the guy handles it. First off, your fingers and mouth still work- the idea that sex just ends if you can't get hard is ridiculous. And too many guys turn into assholes when it happens.
@dumbbitchcap The 'made up' facts come from the US Dept of Agriculture, but if you've resorted to personal insults instead of arguments, it tells me you know you're wrong and just want to feel justified in looking down at poor people. Good bye.
@dumbbitchcap@nathano235 Obesity doesn't come from too much food. It comes from only having access to fast food and cheap stuff. As someone who was on food stamps for 2 years, I promise you they're not living better than you, and they're not the resaon you, and me, and so manny others are struggling.
@dumbbitchcap@nathano235 Because Republicans keep shifting more of the tax burden from the ultra rich onto the rest of us. And they've done such a good job of propogandizing you that you're mad hungry people get a little more food, instead of being mad at the rich who don't pay their fair share anymore
@702ValetParker When I worked in city government, we were working to put a traffic light at an intersection where kids on bikes kept getting hit. We invited all the 'save the kids' groups to take part, but somehow none of them ever responded.
Just used one of my favorite mental health practices.
Saw an ignorant post that pissed me off and wrote a long response, getting it all out. Then I took a deep breath, deleted the reply and blocked the person instead. Internet trolls are just not worth my time and attention.
@tawnniee If white means being so weak and pathetic that you're threatened by the casting of fictional characters, than I'm happy for us to be bred out. You people are such snowflakes
