@joeovies We went through half a bottle of Malort before Game 2 with the amount of people just coming up and asking for it by name.
To this day I don't understand
@wyshynski@yolo_pinyato Isn't that just emblematic of the league in general right now where we really just don't know how to evaluate and quantify defensive play? Like how the Norris tends to go to blue liners who put up the most points, largely ignoring guys like Slavin?
@JLazzy23 In 2006 and 2002 the Canes needed goalie changes throughout the run to get where they got. You were 100% correct, the team needed a kick in the pants, even if it was or wasn't a fault of Freddie.
I don't think Rod thought it would resonate this well.
@AGoldFan The Steve Dangle podcast guys did a bit on this explaining how fantasy hockey has made the average hockey viewer dumb, particularly in reference to Slavin
@Habzz55@ncsu97@Amy_Dess I mean you all went on a hell of a run and with the core you have this won't be the last one. You are where the Canes were back in 2019, just with better high end pieces to build around.
@AndrewBobeck94@joshlangerr Fanatics would still contractually provide the on ice hats, but NE would absolutely have their own range of special event hats for it.
@mateychk No chance for the Canes now with the sweetheart stadium and district deals that Dundon has. Going to be printing himself money as long as there is a tenant in the arena
@RCoolum@ADiMarco25 I mean when you really think of it, the Flyers kind of lost their soul with the trade. And by that I mean the mean SOBs that would outwork you and make your night a living hell every night that they were from the 70s through the 90s. And he brought that mindset to Raleigh.
@Ts7705421096234@ScoutingTheRefs They did review. The head refs went to the headset after the goal and everyone stayed on the ice til they confirmed it would not be overturned. Didn't take long maybe 30 seconds or so, but they didn't show it on TV.
