I’m asking all of my Prayer warriors to lift my husband Wayne in prayer. He’s been hospitalized due to some internal bleeding and other issues.
They’re going in to do an endoscopy to determine the source of the bleeding! Pray for The Lord’s Mighty Healing!
This right here.
The gospel puts all on equal footing. All have sinned and fallen short. No one is righteous, no not one.
People judge others for their past while neglecting their own sin. So many men have struggled with porn either in the past or currently and who are you to demand virginity from a woman when you yourself have been committing virtual adultery?
A whole lot of Christians have told on themselves in the past 24 hours.
And we wonder why the world looks at Christians and think "nah, that's not the answer".
My husband may be losing his job soon due to a lack of business.
The phone just isn't ringing.
Please pray for our little family. Pray that we trust in God and that my husband is guided to where he needs to be...whether that be a new/existing company or one he creates.
I can't help but wonder if the many, many commenters hating on this guy for marrying this woman have kept themselves pure when it comes to pornography.
Or are some sins okay and forgivable but not others?
If you claim to be Christian and are offended by this testimony, you are clearly offended by the gospel as well, because guess what? Jesus came to save sinners just like this. God gets glory from people sharing with the world how much He has forgiven them.
Do you guys not understand that this statistic is to those of the world and not those truly born-again?
May we not be so overly concerned with the statistics of the world over God’s amazing grace in saving sinners. A truly born-again believer is the safest person to marry.
“Stop saying men should marry wh*res! They’ll always be high body-count wh*res!”
Yells the perpetually online young man who scrolled through 58 sexed up women last night before he settled on one to m*sterbate to.
You must be redeemed too, young man. Repent.
Here's a mind-blowing point that the angry, hyper-patriarchal neo-Pharisees on X don't want you to think about
In the Bible, Jesus is symbolically portrayed as a virgin bridegroom, while the Church is portrayed as His bride.
But this bride is not a sinless virgin.
She is actually a former prostitute, an adulteress,
who has seen the depth and gravity of her own sin, repented, been fully forgiven and redeemed, then cleansed and sanctified by her Bridegroom's love and clothed by Him in perfect white garments.
Jesus loved this woman, the Church, so much that He gave His own life to save her and to spare her from a future of sin, filth, shame, darkness, death, judgment, and destruction.
He did this while she was still a prostitute.
He took the first step to save her, even though there is no law or rule that says she deserves it. Quite the opposite, actually, since we know what Leviticus says about stoning.
Jesus went FAR beyond what was required.
And He is portrayed as someone who sees it as entirely worth it, and who longs and yearns to one day meet His bride face to face for the first time ever at the great wedding in Heaven.
Take a moment to let that reality sink in, and consider how it should shape your mindset as a Christian.
Because, in the Christian faith, Jesus is the ultimate standard of love, truth, mercy, hope, kindness, healing, righteousness, and everything worth pursuing in life.
And He said: 'Follow me'
If you understood how wicked your own sin was,
how undeserving of grace you were,
how much your righteousness stunk like used menstrual rags to God’s nose,
You wouldn’t have time to worry about someone else’s sin.
And you’d be willing extend grace to any sinner that repents
The comments on this have brought me to tears. Seriously , humans are so wicked. The fact that Christ died for us astonishes me. We do not deserve you, Lord.
God bless you Trevor and thank you for this encouraging testimony. Your wife is beautiful and has also encouraged me many times. Never delete this because Christ Saves sinners and we are called to testify of this.
I’m seeing some straight trash about manhood on the internet. Influencers teaching that real men are loud, domineering, treat women like trash, and chase the desires of the flesh.
Young Christian men please understand, that’s not real manhood.
Real manhood isn’t loud or domineering. It’s strong enough to be gentle when it needs to be and fierce when the moment demands it. It leads. It protects. It provides. It disciples. It contends for the faith.
Also, I will never stop proclaiming what God has done in my life.
God took the worst (me) and made me clean. He blessed my life when I didn’t deserve it and changed me and continues to change me. I have an amazing marriage. Three beautiful children. A very wholesome life.
